This centrally located restaurant was very welcoming on a wet cold evening. The staff were friendly and attentive. Service was prompt but not fussy. The choices were excellent. Each dish was delightfully presented and explained. The wine list was extensive but only national. Bread was continually replenished. Portions were ample but extremely enjoyable.

Le Bréard

The staff were very accommodating when they discovered we speak no French. They gave us the English menu and the hostesses took the time to explain the dishes to us in English. We were impressed with the quality and the presentation of the food. We were so happy to find this place.

The service, food, and vibe of the place were excellent! However, the main dishes did not offer vegan or vegetarian options, which was a big disappointment.

The staff was wonderful. Easygoing, friendly and professional. The food was just ok. The drinks and dessert, however, were amazing. Nice place to go for a romantic meal. The merlu was disappointing and the lamb roll was full of gristle. It&#39;s such a nice place, just try something else!

Nice location away from the harbor and its busyness. Very good food. Staff was helpful despite the language barrier!

We had a lovely meal at Le Vieux Honfleur - better than we had expected. Our only very small gripe was that the waiters insisted on speaking to us in English, despite the fact that we spoke to them in French!

Despite a error of the booking site at the time our table was available at our arrival the boss makes me note that he had a booking for 12 h and I show him my booking 13 h a little tended to start that quickly turned into a very pleasant service and very good food quality and quantity in conclusion address to retain we will return with great pleasure

The food is of excellent quality and the presentation is excellent. Service was genuine but often seemed a bit hesitant, something not expected from an establishment that is clearly seeking a Michelin star. I must confess that some of their hesitancy might have been due to their bewilderment on dealing with a young family of four whose youngest behaved as you would expect a whiny two year old child. The couples seated adjacent to the disobedient table, which included my wife and I, were subjected to odorous behavior that devolved into really strong unpleasant aromas that totally interfered with our enjoyment of the excellent food. Staff showed no interest in taking steps to enhance the offended guests enjoyment. They should have offered to move us or offered some recompense for our obvious discomfort.  It turned what should have been a lovely afternoon into a genuinely stressful one.

It was a very nice restaurant, we liked the food it was very nice, a little bit too much fruit in the main course for us, but lovely food all the same.

Really attentive staff, delicious food and good wine list. I think they over indexed on the sweet vs savory play in most dishes but I appreciate the experimental nature. Priced just right for the experience. Would return
